I know he’s playing as wing back and I don’t think we are playing 4231 but I do think we have the players for it and would be a better more balanced side for it. Just my opinion though.
Not sure any of our defenders are good enough at defending to play 4 at the back |

Perhaps but on the flip side you have two holding midfielders to help. Grant would be more than capable of dropping back in at CB to make it back 5 if/when needed Plus, you would hope with the attacking 3 midfielders being a bit further up the pitch & closer to Simpson we might attack more and have to defend less. That my logic behind it anyway - whether it would work like that is another matter |

All hypothetical but I wouldn’t be starting Gladwin full stop currently & would never deploy him as holding midfielder. Still not convinced we’d have an issue with a back 4. Defending hasn’t really been our weakness this season. |
