My contract with a tv show was due to end today so I was going to be missing today but the contract has been extended for a day and the boss feels guilty for it.  As we’re shooting at bbc Bristol where only 10 people can get on set, the covid coordinator isn’t really necessary. So after a few hints, here I am sitting in the sun watching the cricket waiting for the right time to enter the pagoda of eternal futile optimism.

Basically I’m going to the football and I’m quite excited.

And the wicket keeper has just been hit in the bollocks. It gets better and better.

1 change from last Saturday with Critchlow replacing Baudry.

No place for Williams so he must have signed too late.

Edit: 2 changes Iandolo out replaced by Reed too.

That's a VERY good looking line up. Just needs an experienced striker, no disrespect to Simpson.

Attack is very much or only weakness in the squad, Simspon looked good last week after a poor start but we do need more options up front.

Carlisle have only won 1 game in the last 11 games, a 3-2 win away at Orient on 1st May, they drew 7 of them though.

A lot of new stewards around, all very jobsworthy trying to stop you standing in areas in the DRS concourse and confiscating bottle tops. Just let us enjoy the day FFS!
