Even if we were losing I would be more than happy with what I have seen in that half.

Pitman doesn't appear to be in their squad He's injured *giggles* ----------------------------------------------------- Happy with that first half. Lacking a bit in terms of meaning chances, but I'm probably being a bit greedy if I expect that as well.

Its a breath of fresh air footballing wise, great running and pressing by Town and some good passing too, just need that killer edge.

I thought Simpson looked poor against Peterborough reserves last weekend. Can’t write him off yet but clear we need at least one more forward.

Simpson held it up well 2-3 times in the opening 25 mins. Been quiet since then. Taft certainly has the beating of him in the air.
He looks very raw and will need a run of 3/4 games before we can properly judge.

How good is it to be watching football again? Not just shitty defensive scrappy, shoddy, no chance of creating anything shite too! We have pace and trickery! We look full of running and movement. We aren't just trying to get a free kick and fluke a goal! Decent first half! Some way to go yet. Interested to see how this pans out.

66% possession, Scunny look like a well drilled team that soak up pressure and hit on the break with a long ball counter, if we can keep passing and pressing like that and get some shots on target the game is there for the taking.

stand out performers back 5 and grant. they haven't done a lot but looked really classy when they have knocked it around and defended. The other 6 need to be a bit more incisive and brave

Sounded a good first half and perfect antidote to the anti football of the Sheridactyl.will be interesting to see our match fitness as the second half unfolds.

Great atmosphere. Definitely growing into this game as Scunny have best part of buggar all to offer. I thought beforehand - get to HT 0-0 and Town might just go on to nick this. Proper football again too. The contrast is glaring from last season. Only one match in but this team already would beat last seasons. Amazing what a fresh face in the management booth can do (along with some nifty looking additions). Pitch is pretty ok, just looks like they aerated it a bit too much. Mind we've had a fuck ton of water up here so kudos to the ground staff at Scunny. No dount there were some very "slow" patches. Fitness may get Town but I still think they could snatch it. Scunny offer nowt, so going by that... 0-0

I have to be honest I think they are all doing well, the only poorer performer is Simpson but hes raw so has some leeway.
Payne doing great but KKH looks a fantastic player, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him score today, or at least get an assist.
