Didn’t he do an ‘open letter’ a few weeks ago as well?

I especially like the way when he talks about it being a disappointing season he begins with himself when talking about it not being what is deserved. Truly delusional! He got exactly what he deserved based on how he runs the club!

Interesting that the Swindon Business Group who have always lurked in the background at the advisory meetings under the guise of sponsor’s representatives, have emerged from hiding to give Clem their support. I see from the latest moonraker article.

“The Moonraker understands the STFC Business Group – a seven-strong group of influential sponsors and local businesspeople – are lobbying for the terms of the Joint Venture lease and the purchase agreement to be made public.

These documents have been kept behind closed doors since the JV came to own the County Ground in 2023. Senior figures at the club are also believed to be keen to make the documentation more widely visible.”

I notice they were called out in the last Q&A.

I feel really depresed about the state of the club at the moment. I feel like we've got another ten years or this bollocks. I don't see any light at the end of the tunnel at all.

Coe rocking the boat then. Presumably some kind of divide and conquer.

What is in there they are going to use to try and force through a vote.

And I suppose it's a fair question to ask why it's private anyway. Not specifics but what area is sensitive enough to warrant it, my tiny brain can't think of any

I think the club are trying to force through a development without the Trust voting yes.

I was told by someone with a bit of inside knowledge a couple of weeks ago that the club thought they could get it agreed with just the JV board vote, which has 2 club, 2 Trust & 2 Eady Trust members so ignoring the Trust members

If there are three parties and the majority vote is 2 to 1 then seems reasonable. That’s how things normally work.

But the JV rules state that it’s the Trust (as Landlord) that have to vote on redevelopment not the JV Board.

It appears that the Aussie plumber & friends are trying to ignore the rules as they don’t suit them. It’s not as if they haven’t done that before (admin errors)

There isn't three parties. The JV is the trust and the club.

Agreed. Seems likely they are trying to fuck the fans over like that, or somehow

Stop it with your transparency!

@Batch - I presume they are trying to get the actual deal made public that was struck with the Council.  I presume the Council have a say in whether that is allowed or not as it likely holds confidential/commercially sensitive information they are not keen on having public.

Aside from the fact there are not three parties in the ownership structure (Eady split reps), the reality is that the rules are whatever was negotiated and accepted at the time of joining the Joint Venture.  Nobody forced the club to be a part of it, and the Club didn't put any money in towards it, so they have little to moan about.
