Just reading that the “not to be unreasonably delayed or withheld” line relating to the mobile phone mast perked my interest a little.

This isn’t something they could use on the DRS development is it? I could just see this lot saying any refusal is unreasonable and try to force it through if they have the opportunity to do so.

I would have gone but it's the same night as the Ossie 1990 reunion at the Meca which i already had tickets for. Not sure if it's being live streamed or there's a way of watching it back? Not sure I'd trust the clubs official write up after

I didn't see the 1990 reunion advertised anywhere, any idea which ex-players are attending?

A quick Google sleuth suggests tickets were sold from a website called aworthyhangout.co.uk

Can't seem to find a huge amount about what the event entails.

'not to be unreasonably delayed or withheld' is a staple stock phrase of leasehold contracts literally everywhere, albeit no idea if any such provision is within the lease between the JV and the club or even within the JV agreement itself, so at best its speculation at this stage.

From experience the only people who ever benefit from challenges under such provision are our learned friends as the abundance of case law on the matter illustrates.

This lad has 2 spare tickets for the 1990s reunion Meca event.

Fans forum tomorrow then. Anyone on here planning on going? I assume Clem is back for this?

Expecting it to be a giant waste of time.

Do you know the definition of trolling? Let me save you a Google Search…
“the act of leaving an insulting (direct or passive) message on the internet in order to annoy someone”

I’d say that’s pretty much most of your posts considering the negative responses you gain from whatever you say yet you keep posting the same superior tone, winding people up and causing arguments like some sort of grammar police level of annoyance.. Either you’re a troll or lack the self awareness to how you come across - which is it?

Maybe send him the definition of ad nausim as well considering he keeps going back to the same fucking point that has been done to death with anologies and all sorts.

If you promise transparency and the fans ask for visibility of where a ridiculous amount of money is going then yes, that is what was promised. Of course it will never become visible, because any one with half a brain knows what the true nature of the "admin expenses" are.

We've been through this. You're wasting your time trying to explain what any reasonable person would concede to.

Ultimately, there'll be a vote very soon which, whether it's supposed to or not, will be a referendum on the ownership. We're about to find out whether these people are the silent majority they think they are, I suppose.

Personally, I'm conflicted. I actually think the plans are pretty good, all things considered. The people delivering them, not so much. Will a no vote accelerate their exit or just make things acrimonious and dig them in further?

Obviously the nightmare scenario is a Trust "yes" vote except with a less than 50% turnout so it doesn't count anyway. Bennett, would you care to no comment on whether the Trust will announce the results if the turnout falls short, or just say "the turnout wasn't enough"?

"transparent" is subjective, unless defined it serves little purpose

edit - in the context of being "open and transparent", not windows

It's a good question, one that I don't have a good initial answer to but one we'll discuss internally once consultation is done

So reading between the lines here, the glazers are potentially going to be making a bid for the club?
