Suspect they are being held back so as to not overshadow the plans for Old Trafford?
We are going to lease the tents that used to be at the Memorial Stadium

Sam in the Moonraker today having a similar chat to the last few pages about the hold-ups on Holloway's contract and ST going on sale. They went on sale on 10th and 12th of March last two years.

I know the club were advertising for a club secretary. No idea if they would be involved in the Season Ticket sales organisation but it does make you wonder if we have enough staff to do the work (I've no idea either way and could be way off)

Traditionally, they would not. It's a much more FA/EFL/Governance/Rules & Regs role traditionally. Remember, we basically have no back-office staff, and this is a club that literally admitted to not believing in marketing STs.

Perhaps this is extending to not believing in *selling* STs this season.

If we've got no back office staff and open very few turnstiles what are the 218 employees noted in the accounts doing, that's hell of a lot of burger flippers and stewards....

I don't think they'll be far off an announcement, hopefully making the most of a Holloway announcement - would be sensible, but then you never know!

...which brings us neatly back to the subject of those Admin expenses.

Or relocate the remains of the covered market.

There are 40 players, another 20(?) youths, about 20 coaches, analysts, academy and fitness staff,. Then there's the kit team Ground staff The women's team staff is probably In there too. Then the match day team at the stadium is probably 5 or 6 times larger in terms of payroll head count than you ever see on an actual match day because stewards and catering staff are part time and casual, For a club that has its catering, bars and stuff in house 200 odd staff isn't a big surprise. I've known fairly quiet pubs that only ever have two staff on duty have a payroll with 15 people on it. Your comment is confusing headcount with WTE.

Not even any burgers to flip. 100 people making stupidly long sausage rolls.
