Some of the posts on there scream of entitlement, frankly I'd kill to have the stadium and off-field improvements they've had in recent years. It might have gone tits up this year, but were they expecting a Luton or Ipswich-kinda season? Luton was a one-off, and Ipswich were funded to the moon and had access to the same player scouting data that Brighton has... back to back (or a year or two's difference) L2/L1 promotions are possible, there's not a huge step between top of L2 and half of L1, momentum counts for a lot, but the Championship is like running into a buzzsaw.

Shame it's a lightyear from where we are at the minute.

Its all relative though isn't it? If you see yourself as a championship club, you get peeved at struggling to maintain that.

Long and very good piece on maintenance & ownership issues in the Moonraker today. I'll not copy and paste it all in here but Sottsy, Hart and the general nonsense of it all comes up, there are a lot of quotes from Hall which are reasonably conciliatory, but very little commitment to fix anything beyond "stick with us".

Big news is that we might get burgers and fries next season...

Sottsy?

Assistant CEO Operations dogs body. Clems mate of the family, from Aus

Sotiris Caldelis. He may actually have experience at a flooring company too

Assistant CEO

According to Hall, very much not the assistant CEO. But replacing Lee Dover (who left btw) and helping with day to day operations.

Hart of course is not Operations Manager and just does S&C stuff.

The cost of the ventilation etc needed will be prohibitive so I wouldn't put money on it unless it's a mobile unit based outside.

The DRS used to do chips and stuff, so that may already be there?

I'm sure,  if it is there, that it's been maintained adequately and would pass all modern safety standards in the many years since it was last used.

For those without Moonraker access, Hall specifically calls out £50k's worth of fire doors that need to be installed

There was some money (not £50k) for exactly that in the County Ground development plan the joint venture members voted on, from memory.
