Perfection is not attainable

« Reply #13185 on: Thursday, May 23, 2024, 12:15:28 »

Yeah I'm really not sure whether to go down that path or just make do with the Sky games next year. The chateau thing seemed perfectly fine when you couldn't show the games in the UK anyway, I do wonder whether they'll police it a bit more now Sky are showing most.
This did pass my mind too. I have a firestick with Octo too but the delay and quality is absolutely shite compared to iFollow itself.

I wont get a season pass this season though until after the first game to see if its been clamped down on or not.

I used that word in jest as it’s the pdf that’s been going around today with all the errors.
I just read somewhere that the sponsors met up last night and are not obviously happy with many things.
Just looking for more proof this was the case.

It's an opportunity to sponsor the club last season at 5 times the price. Untapped potential give we have *checks the pamphlet* 800 million fans.

If you think about it, time travel sponsorship could really grab some headlines for the sponsors.

Some chap on twitter suggesting the club are cold calling businesses offering advertising boards for £99 a month.

I'll optimistically predict a sale announcement next Friday, after all involved set themselves an end of the month target.

Of all the things they do wrong I’m less concerned by this.

Trying to generate revenue by contacting local businesses seems like a relatively good idea, it’s the fact that they treat the ones they already deal with so poorly (based on what was posted here) that makes me want to cringe.

Perhaps they could advertise the club for sale on a few of them.

I wonder if this event last night was sponsors or the Swindon Town Business Club.
