Indeed. But it then needs to be brought back to the UK to be returned to the lease company...or alternatively just come to a financial agreement to pay them off and move on. This must have already happened....you would think 🤔

How many of us have heard (no matter who the source is and whether we believe it or not) that Power is still pulling the strings? Wouldn’t surprise me.

I don't think he's pulling any strings but I was led to believe that he was still getting something out of the club. What, how or why I do not know

Someone posted on facebook the actual letter Clem wrote to the Trust when he took over and in it, it explains how he owned 15% of the club

I pointed this out to one of his staunch defenders as he never believed ithis to be the case. and he still said it was bullshit!

This coming from an actual letter that the owner had written himself!

Cant make it up

Clem was involved in the club prior to becoming the sole owner. So the chat about him not knowing exactly how big the problems were, are sketchy in my mind.

Not pulling the strings, but biding his time to get back involved (heard from a very credible source very close to Mr Power).

Longest legal dispute ever that thing

Probably spent more on legal fees than what the fucking thing is worth now

Probably 50+% of legal cases follow this theme TBH.

Didn't the whole Standing case illustrate that one think Power was very good at was ensuring that his 'investors' didn't actually have a fecking clue what was going on, one would assume why Standing insisted that his accountant be on the board and have access to the bank account, until Power changed the password when they started to fall out?

Can someone stop the ship I want to get off now. All the promises about transparency have completely gone out the window now (I guess this was Angus putting pressure on clem to show everything with his Trust hat on, which others didnt like and stopped him doing the job right) and these last set of accounts show less than Power showed.

Also, we are now in a worse financial position than again when power was here. The balance sheet shows we owe clem and others £7.6m and this is only getting worse as we are continuing to make losses, it would be even worse if we hadn't had the Eady money for half the ground. Honestly what can be done here before its too late.

To put a rough view of the p&l based on 2023 accounts....

Turnover £6m
Cost of sales £4.6m*
Admin exps £2.5m**
Loss £1.1m

This excludes the JV money if my calculations are correct.

* I assume cost of sales would include players/staff wages and all costs associated with running the match days incl. Policing, food, programs and shop goods sold.

** admin exps, I've no idea what this could be  Roll Eyes

It already is too late.  What can be done is force a sale of the club and hope the next one is not another in the long list of scumbags acting as saviours.  In short, support SO69.
