Italy better team overall but haven’t created any major chances. England defence has looked comfortable.
Italy will have to push more men forward in the second half and England will have chances to pick Italy off.

Very enjoyable half, in as much as anything like this can be enjoyable. We might not win this game, but we've come to win and with a plan and the players to execute it.
First the goal. What a start - amazing from start to finish - four incredible bits - the ball from Kane, Walker's run, Trippier's cross and Shaw's finish. If you stopped the game and asked them what they wanted to do, every one would describe exactly what happened - perfect execution and calmed any nerves about the formation immediately.
No doubt Italy grew into the game, but England have dropped off the second part of the first half in every game and we've defended well and still look very dangerous on the break. Shaw is playing exceptionally in defence and attack, Kane is playing the template Olmo wrote in the semi brilliantly.
Italy are a good side, there's every chance they come back at us especially through Chiesa who looks bright, but they have weaknesses in both full back positions
The referee seems keen to let anything short of actual GBH go, which is frustrating at times but I think will benefit us more on balance.
Come the fuck on England.
