Yeah, production on S1 and S2 to an extent were very much a mess. There's quite a lot of unhappy cast members from that time which is one reason you end up with the situation you are talking about. And another cast member temporarily going. You see them again in various forms though.

Like all Star Trek (apart from maybe TOS) it takes a while to find it's feet.

Would have been nice to introduce Weley to the oil puddle though.

For all of you currently watching through this and it appears to be a few, have you got to season 6 episode 3, Man of the People?
