England Pickford is so much better than Everton Pickford.

It's a really difficult one. There's no doubt he's one of the best strikers in the world AND he's badly out of form. Having him back on form would be a huge bonus to our chances of winning the tournament. DCL is a good player but has a lower ceiling.

That's the kind of decision that makes a makes a manager's reputation. I wouldn't want to make it.

It’s like the 2010 Paynter play off final dilemma.

If you play Paynter/Kane and they are useless then people will question why you didn’t play player x instead.

Slightly different in tournament football as you have a minimum of three games.

You need creative forward thinking players to give him the opportunities

You have had Mount, Foden, Sterling, Saka, Grealish all on the pitch at some point.
Whilst we haven’t exactly created a million chances, Kane has still done nothing. I mean he did have the ball about three yards from goal before half time...

So he suddenly becomes a poor player then

Yes, he’s off form and arguably wasn’t fully fit coming into the tournament.
He is off form currently therefore a poor player currently.
We’ve enabled that at the expense of our other striker.

Kane hasn't recovered from that knock. Rashford on please, three fast forwards against this defence.

Disagree play to his strengths give him support and he will deliver but maybe the knock is hindering him
