Was listening to the Quickly Kevin Podcast and they reminded me of the England team when we last played Germany in 2017:

Pickford

Trippier
Phil Jones
Stones
Maguire
Danny Rose

Loftus-Cheek
Dier
Livermore

Abraham
Vardy

Bench included Jack Cork, Joe Hart and Ryan Bertrand

Christ alive we've come a long way.

No way you should be dropping Saka after the way he played last game.

Saka or Grealish, I’m easy.

Foden is amazeballs, 2nd name on the team sheet for me

This is bang on pretty much mine, although not averse to having Mings in the CB pairing. He's done better than many thought. Much like Phillips who I think is undroppable at present. Not fussed about Rice. He's good but when Henderson is available he gets the nod. Phillips can play further forward and be a nuisance this way too. Henderson protects the back line. It's nice  to have these kinds of problems though too Smiley

I think he only drops Saka if he's starting Mount. Which with preparation/isolation aside, if he's been training (I'd imagine he is), there's no reason why Mount can't be a starting option too.

I don't think the Germans need to worry about Sancho until the second half

At least this game is at 5 so the evening won't be ruined.

I go into this game expecting the worst. I shouldn't because Germany are not playing particularly well, but I just get the feeling that their experienced players know how to get things done.

Sane and Havertz have been woeful so far so expect them to both have blinders to show the English public what they can do.

England to win 2-1.
Goals from Maguire & Sterling.

No in depth thinking involved just that they are the only two England players in the trusty Panini album at this time, with only a hopeful looking Bernd Leno on the Germany page.
Hardback edition of course.
