Always a poignant moment when the names of the fallen are read out before the final home game. Still a pity that we won't be there, even though pretty everything about this season has been truly abysmal.
With a crowd in, doubt that the atmosphere at the end of the game would be conducive for the half hearted lap of dishonour by the squad and management. I thank the players for their efforts anyway, it's not been entirely their fault as to how the season has panned out.
Having fans in might have meant an extra point being squeezed out here and there but maybe still not enough. The overall home league record for the last 6 seasons has been:- W55 D27 L51 F180 F176.
I fear that the new manager may have to make do with a 450 watt Omni 5 microwave when it comes to sorting out the recruitment in August.

This might be an historical moment, if it's the last home match of STFC ever in Division One, therefore I'll watch it in case.

I’ve just watched Town’s FA Cup 4th Round 1-1 v West Ham at a well-churned Upton Park on The Big Match Revisited.
So, to rekindle the fighting spirit of Easton et al, I’ll go for an unrealistic 1-1 this afternoon.

I've be watched that a few times and can't believe how friendly the players are at corners with no holding or cuddling!

It’s great seeing the grounds, fashions, ads, refereeing etc and hearing the chants, such as “Argentina Argentina” at White Heart Lane during the early days of Ardiles and Villa. A fab nostalgia-fest.

Yes it's really nice going back in time and even the late 60's before the old Arkells stand was built it's amazing how big the crowds were and how the men dressed as gentlemen wearing shirt & ties

Disappointed Harry Parsons hasn't been put on the bench at least today.

Yeah, you'd think he could easily take J Grant's place.

Ditto ! Also could've given Mathews a run out - would've added a bit of interest, just the same old dross now with nothing to gain !
