If you head towards Whitby, the Falling Foss area is nice as is the Howardian Hills (Reg & I spoke about these unique hills often) but they are a little more inland.

As others have said, can't really go too wrong in North Yorks, just stay off the moors  Girl Giggle

In other news, when are you heading to Turkey? Much easier now with the changes that took place other day Smiley

Not in 2021 more's the pity. We might try and go for New Year but not sure just yet.

What's the deal with PCR tests Deano?

If you are double jabbed do you have to still have a PCR test on day 2 back in the UK?

Do you know the rules for entering EU countries?

sippo.

double jabbed currently need to take a day 2 PCR test when returning from a non red list country

this will be changed imminently to s cheaper lateral flow test. This change should be in place by half term but no firm date has been committed to
---------
Entering EU countries  - requirements are county specific and subject to change

e.g Spain - double jabbed need proof of vaccine (NHS app fine), unjabbed over 12 need PCR test 48 hours before flying in

you'd need to check based on county

Well, if you want to be like that, I did Pembrokeshire in Sept for 1/2 price most were paying and have Tenerife in Nov and Feb plus Cyprus and Turkey to rebook all due to Covid, cancer and broken neck problems!

Do I win? 😂

Girl Giggle Sorry!  Cheesy

I'm really looking forward to it. November holidays in the sunshine and warmth are awesome!

Not sure whether to rent a bike and ride up Mt Teide again - Loved it last time.

No problem mate.

That is a shame, I might try and get out there before the year is out and if I head up coast towards your part I will let you know (especially regards photography).

I am strangely torn though, got some much needed training to do over there as you know but also a wanderlust/intrepid style trip to Nerja in Spain is seemingly calling me. Lots of hiking and revisiting a limestone gorge that I only managed to explore a short part of last time I visited (it's been 4 years). Those kinds of trips really are my bag; maybe I can somehow fit a visit to both (Turkey & Spain) if finances and time allow!

I'm coming over with the family for a few days next week and will be staying in Fairford. Any suggestions for things to in the area that would be fun for two six year old boys? Preferably not more than an hour away by car.

I used to think that place was so huge when I was their age.
