When the players get the ball, there’s literally no plan of what to do next. No structure to the play. No sense of who should be where. Only that the order seems to be, make sure you’re not showing, and at least 10 yards away. It’s anti-tactics. And it’s because we’re set up to not concede. We fail at that, but given how shit we look, it is surprising that we only tend to concede once or twice a game. We’ll go down by not getting thrashed. But there is no plan of how to get the ball from the back, to the front, in a way that creates chances.
All that said, it did look like a red. Foot up. I’m sure we get away with them too, but it did look obvious.
