Ugly game. More Teenage Angst than Placebo.

Stalemate, most likely 0 - 0 or 1 - 1. A point will do.
The important games are coming up v Wovvers and Spotland FC.

I just hope Sheridan goes all-out for a win. It’s no good fannying about and hoping the other shit sides stay shit, give us three points when we play them and drop points against each other.

If you’re gonna die, die with your boots on, as they say.

Town 1-2 Pox

That battle-cry fizzled out a bit.  Huh?

Could have just said "there was handbags but its dealt with and we've got the derby to prepare for" but i guess thats not Shezza's way!

I kind of get the annoyance with the reporter though. Was pretty obvious he wasn't going to get any more of a scoop after the first answer.

To be fair, the reporter suggested that a couple of the players having handbags means that there is an unhappy dressing room when in reality emotions can often run high in a dressing room/training ground and arguments happen all the time, regardless of how happy the squad is.

doesn't help himself does he.

he's not the only manager to be a bit stroppy.

Quite liked Dyche's 'look alikey' speel the other week. That's the way to handle it

He doesn't tend to like any form of questioning but it's part of his job. As I stated previously, Hawes (or anyone) could ask him what he had for lunch or how his day is going and the prick would get defensive. If he's in a job as his, he should expect questioning from the media - no matter how stupid.

A good example is how both Eddie Jones and Farrell dealt with the interviewer post-match. She was desperately trying to get an angry response but they both largely rebuffed and wouldn't be drawn. El Shezza get's annoyed by the local press, national would have him for dinner.

The way Sheridan barely processes the Adver question before going loco says, to me, that there might be previous. Irked by previous questioning etc.

Not that the reaction was acceptable/helpful/needed 24 hours before a derby.
