First time this season I reckon we’ll absolutely wreck ‘em.

Crucial game, I have put my money on a 3-1 win with Twine 1st scorer 70/1. Also  9/2 us to win and BTTS looks a decent bet. Apparently Northampton playing less direct than under Curle. Ex Swindon players Lloyd Jones, Alan Sheehan and Mark Marshall will start for them. Undoubtedly will be tense but hope we play the same team that started against Lincoln and play with same intensity and confidence and get a much needed 3 points.

I didn't realise just how bad Northamptons form is. Really is neatly set up for a heavy defeat

Neither had I until I had a specific look, no wonder Curle was sacked, their scoring record is as bad as any in the top 7 divisions in the pyramid in recent games.

It is set up for a heavy defeat now, obviously.

The first game was a frustrating defeat where we should have got something against a pretty poor side.
At least we've pinched the scorer and assister from that night.

Might be more difficult to pass it around today in what might be a crowded midfield and against a more direct style than on Tuesday.
I suspect that if we win it won't be straightforward. Then again it never is.

I'm really worried about this. We were up for Lincoln and put lots of energy in to stopping them playing, while they made the mistake of letting us play. I don't think Northampton will do this. I fear that they will be better at grinding us down than we are.

This is a 6 pointer and I'm really worried we'll mess it up!

Northampton are in the worst 3 sides we have played...yet still lost, they looked woeful in the away game but we couldnt score.

Under the new caretaker Job Brady they play more football than under Sheridan mk2 Curle so it will be a bit more of a midfield battle I am guessing than hoof vs hoof.

If we play like we did vs Crewe we will likely lose, if we play like we did vs Lincoln we will likely win, chalk and cheese.

Play to our players strengths as we did Tuesday and we will muller them but I fear we will revert to type and go back to old school Shez today and suffer defeat.
