Has anyone actually enjoyed watching the last 2 tests? With the Stokes and McCullum era we were promised entertaining test cricket - in 5 days so far we've seen the bat dominate on flat surfaces, and for me it's not entertaining.
From an England fan's perspective, day 5 in the 1st test was entertaining but only because we won and I'm sure India fans would say the same from the 2nd test.
Cricket is at it's best when it's an even battle between bat and ball, and the surfaces they've prepared aren't conducive to that - which is making it rather dull.

Add that to the fact that England dont have any top class bowlers and all of a sudden the opposition can consistently score lots!

test cricket is always better when the bowlers have the advantage. flat decks and mediocre bowling attacks make for a snooze fest. mind you, the surface still resulted in us getting 6-7 ducks?  |

Really pleased for him, and us. He wont be the second coming of Christ like the BBC would have us believe, but we’re obviously lacking are clearly lacking a strike bowler without him. If he stays injury free he’s going to be the focal point of our bowling for a good number of years. |

Im going tomorrow so will be nice to see something happening. To be fair I dont think Ive been to a day of a test where I haven't seen something exciting. Cue us batting at 2 an over for 90 overs. |

I think you're: 1 Over estimating the influence the England coach and captain have on county cricket groundsmen who prepare wickets mainly for the counties that play at those grounds more than twice a summer. 2 Massively under estimating the impact of this mental weather. |
