Wikipedia suggests that he can bench press 200kg rather than 200lbs.
Your point being? I never said he could bench press just 200lb I said I could.

I took it that you were comparing your physical talents with his and you were a bit confused when it came to certain units of measurement. You have helpfully clarified your previous post. Many thanks for that.

You took it wrong then. He is a professional athlete only an idiot would compare an overweight 54 year old with a professional athlete for anything other than comic value, or even consider it as such.

There wasn't one really but, as you come to mention it, I have been sat in the town end on many occasion and heard comments to the effect of 'I can do better than that professional athlete'. Those making such statements are not usually in the best shape and, one would venture to observe, are probably not the brightest. The looks on their faces suggest they actually believe it.

It was such a good point I thought I would mention it again.

Just to confirm, I note that you didn't intend to compare yourself to the chap who likes to use the phrase 'beast mode'.

Nuance and wit never goes down that well on the screen. Some of us have had the pleasure of meeting PV and could very quickly see he was pissing about.

I have a feeling Wycombe will beat you but they will be straight back down. The only good thing about the weekend. Travesty that Wycombe are in Tier 2. But as mentioned on another thread, ket their fans enjoy the moment. Absolute shite football though. Should make though for some interesting fixtures with the yellow ones. Two sides that like to play footy. Could be ourselves and them pushing for a PO spot next season, or maybe even go one better. Should make for a lively and fairly exciting season. Whenever that may start.

It’s not really a travesty Wycombe getting promoted is it. Yeovil and burton both did it in recent decades. Even when Brentford made it they did so after a gap of 20+ years (and look at them now)
I don’t doubt god forbid we ever made it to the championship a lot of fans of other teams From the championship and league one would see it as similar to those
