A " regulation" 2-0 home win.  With a "routine" brace from Doyle.  Doesn't get better than that. Pint

The chasm in GD between us and Exeter is almost worth an extra point too. Tonight couldn't have gone much better really.
Absolutely, Plymouth could have lost but Crewe and Exeter drawing is the icing on the cake of winning on a Tuesday at home with a clean sheet, with our first 25 league goal striker for the first time in many years!

Doughty magisterial MoM. He’s moving into the Calderwood/Culverhouse level of man-love territory.

He was magnificent today.  Even better than my perennial motm, Grant.

Enjoyed that. Not the prettiest of games but a clear gulf in class and we always looked in control. Doughty was excellent, lots of other solid performances. Delighted to see GP back among the goals, second one was a classy finish.

Table starting to look good again! Need the win on Saturday as all other auto promotion contenders have what look like straightforward matches.

Thought the game was terrible quality wise with loads of misplaced passes but won't catch me complaining with three points. Doughty, Fryers, Grant, Caddis all very good. Just struggled to put moves together going forward. Nice to see Keshi involved again and he looked good on the ball as well as playing a beautiful defence splitting pass.

Thought Yates was our only poor performer but he's been great for us this season on the whole.

Excited to see us in League 1 again. Only a matter of time now I think.

Probably the worst performance since Newport, but still too much quality for Scunny. Doughty was unplayable in the 2nd half, but poor in the first. Thought Caddis and Isgrove had very good games also, and obviously nice to see GP scoring again, plus Anderson make his comeback. Poor Jaiyesimi couldn't do anything right all game, but he's been immense this season.

Did anyone else hear the announcer crack an unintentional vegan joke at the end of the game, when he announced that we entergrain Forest Green on Saturday?

It was a helluva pass to Caddis by Keshi, SuperHans.  He and DJ are tremendous catalysts and make an ideal sub one for the other.

It may be a little random to single out Benda and Broadbent but I shall anyway!

I think Benda's confidence has grown to match his undoubted abilities and that confidence spreads throughout the defence.

Also, after his early season, personal uncertainties, it is really pleasing to see how effectively Tom Broadbent has slotted in as a very reliable "cover" defender.

All in all, our all star team is becoming a pretty mean one too.

Had to miss the match, was never going to make it back to the CG from Devon in time for kick off. Sad

Great result....take each game as it comes and....win it!

Three points closer to glory!

Hopefully thump Forest Gump Rovers on Saturday!

Agree, whilst the accolades rightly go to the creative players, Benda insils confidence in the defence & fans, he is a class act.
