Tweeted the club about this. I'm only counting 4. Chesterfield, Shrewsbury, Rovers and last night. He wasn't booked for QPR in the cup game against us.

Abandoned Rovers game counts.  Annoying that if you score it gets wiped off if you get a card it counts.

Just watched the highlights, 3 very good goals all well executed for the finish and set up.

Vigs only just touched the penalty (if at all) but he will claim it as a save but in truth it was a shit penalty.

The sending off was a little soft but you can't retaliate so he had to go.

Glad to hear that the (younger) youngsters did well tonight, Smith sounds like he had a stormer. I hope he keeps his place although LW does like to blood the young ones very gradually when there are options available.

Think people are going over the top a bit with smiths performance. He didn't shit the bed but I didn't think he had the look of someone good enough for an extended spell in the side (yet)

It was a smashing free kick but Rodgers only had a decent game because Smith & Murray were busting a bollock so he didn't have to.

Rogers charged near on 40 yards near the end to hassle the defender. I'm usually his harshest critic but he did alright last night to be fair to him

Yeah, I accept that. He ran around a lot but didn't look strong enough for that role

Said to my mate it reminded me a lot of an early Louis Thompson performance

It is a small minority but I'm in it too. Lots of great stuff, solid passing, tracking, tackling even - particularly in the first 20 minutes. However, for me, he didn't always correctly shut down the passes into players behind him and was sometimes on his heels once he got into a pocket so missed the ball.

As the game went on he also faded physically and started to misplace a few simple passes and struggled more as Rochdale matched up formation wise putting an opponent in front of him.

Obviously that is being very critical - it is a great start for a very young player. Not sure about asking him to do it every single week. Yet. Soon he will be a mainstay of the side.

Keith Hill was singing the praises of LV on Rochdale player after last nights game, well worth a watch

Smith did very visibly tire and was much more effective in the first half than second but he's been out for a while and it is to be expected. For me, though, what he did was get stuck in and was a total pain for their midfield. He gave us a presence which we haven't had. Its no coincidence having him there we won plenty of second balls. Basically, he did the dirty work that a lot of our players will not or cannot do. I'd keep him in there as long as he's fit.

a bit on georgaklis, signed from Man(ly) united

http://www.fourfourtwo.com/au/news/georgaklis-looking-emulate-luongo

This is the type of thing that stfc should be communicating as a good news type of story and the article shows how poor stfc communication has got under Messr Power

I do remember Georgaklis being mentioned. It was a bit of a 'thing' at the time as it was in the Aussie news as well. It was about the same time that Luongo was emerging as the 'darling' of Australia. His move was well publicised, particularly for a youngster. He was touted as the next Luongo, whom was still here at the time.

To say it wasn't communicated is just plain false but ho-hum, it's another stick to hit Power with.

A couple of people vaguely remembering something doesn't constitute a good marketing campaign. I'm normally well up on STFC related stuff, but that's the first i'd heard. No one is beating anyone with a stick, just saying it was muted at best and nothing since he signed until that over almost 18 months.
