Didn't know that. I'm not a friendly person - if you know what I mean!

Nope other than the fact they have never done it. Sorry, not a valid argument as its ALWAYS been done that way. Pre Season games never carry players names on shirts.

Possibly because players have not been allocated squad numbers at this stage.
I remember a few years back a friendly against Southampton when many of the players on both sides didn't even have numbers on their shirts!

Does West Bromwich have a twin town?

WB, is part of the Borough of Sandwell, which is twinned with Amritsar.

Amritsar, will forever be associated with the massacre perpetrated by British troops, just after the Great War.

The Indian PM Modi, thinks that Britain should pay reparations for this atrocity and other aspects of the Raj.

Right after the Italian government pays us for the occupation of the Roman Empire.

TBF to Power....we have never ever in my 40 years of watching Swindon told the press or fans who the trialists are in pre season friendlies. Seems standard practice in lower leagues to try and get one over other clubs.

I think I remember Gary Alexander playing under an assumed name one year to throw people off.

Different times now, with social media and a more technical savvy media industry. It doesn't bother me as such, but its a bit of a laugh when you see 4 media outlets name the trialists during the game but the official site call them as "trialist". What's the point.
