When in Somerset get yourself down to Rich's cider farm, superb cider straight from the barrel, good restaurant too.

My old chap used to go there 30 years ago for cider and apple juice to make his apple wine.

Not had cider for ages, not something i tend to buy, but when I do, Old Rosie is my favourite. Nice and sharp. It's sad looking through this thread and seeing Reg's name crop up

My seven year old post still stands. Recently fallen off the wagon after 6+ months without booze. Quite partial to Thatchers Haze. A pint of Gold does go down very nicely. Rattler too.
In fact, any proper cider. None of this 'cidre' bollocks, thank you.

If you have tried Sheppys then you surely have.

Black dragon from gwynt y draig is excellent. Their other ciders are pretty good as well. I like cider. Cider doesn't like me sometimes. I've got aspalls for tonight.
