I think PB sorted his issue out. But it is understood there is an ongoing issue in which the club agreed to settle out of court but then went back on the agreement. A Rooney issue is with PFA I believe and it will be determined whether of not the contract was proper or not. Because its worth a fair bit, that's why Jed etc wanted to null it.
So you're guessing then?

I thought L Rooney had been paid up and gone...although I suppose he's getting installments. Forgot about Williams

We could really do with getting beyond Stevenage...as no money coming in from the FA Cup.
The Adver did report that they understand that Rooney's contract will be terminated by mutual consent but I haven't seen any confirmation of this yet.

True, but I think we can all work out, that we're throwing some decent $ down the drain on the likes of Cox, Benson, Navarro, TAH are there any others, so losing them from the wage bill will help.

May be over the hill for another season tho, struggled this season for pace
Esp when a ready made replacement in Barthram already here

Not sure how you have worked that one out, seeing as Barthram is a right sided player.

McEveley is 28 and never really had any real pace. He has had a good season and I am sure he would be fine for another one, although his wage may see us attempt to move him on.

Strange post.

Actually meant Alex Smith  Embarrassed ( Must not do so many things at once ) and while JM may only be 28 he is slow and getting slower.
I guess it depends on how much he is on and how much Power wants to slash the wages further

Doubt Smith is on anything near what JM is

JMac?

At least he plays...I can't imagine he'll get another contract here, unless prepared to take a pay cut.

I was thinking that JMac was looking fitter and faster (especially going forward). Seems to have put a lot of work in to get over his knee injury and is reaping the rewards.
