Good work Donkey. Always wanted to do that. Never had the opportunity but I'd probably bottle it and catch it if it ever did come my way.

I don't think even one of McEveley's free kicks would have reached Bangkok. Well maybe the second one.

Congrats donkey, best part of 40 years I've been going and still not been close to achieving that ambition, I just know that if and when it finally does happen, I'll end up with my specs smashed across my forehead!

Ha, fair play. Saw you from across the pitch, living the dream.
I did something similar at a game between Maidenhead and Basingstoke. Only instead of heading the ball back, I went arse over tit and spilt guinness all down me. Bloke behind just looked at me sprawled on the floor and muttered "That's why you're on this side of the line son."

I still have the ball Alan Connell scored the winner with against Wigan in the FA cup a couple of seasons ago. Connell scored, then another player twatted it in celebration and it hit part of the town end and somehow looped up straight into my arms in the DRS. By the time everyone had stopped going mental there was another ball already on the pitch so I, well, nicked it. Played 6 a side with it a couple of times but its now sat in a cupboard, flat.

A few years ago now in the DRS (sat in front of Chalkie's Shorts who can probably verify it as he took the piss mightily) I caught a massive clearance (bearing in mind I was in Row M or something like that) and attempted to throw it back at the pitch overhead like a throw in.
The fucking thing looped up, hit the roof and somehow bounced back at a perfect angle into my arms again, much to everyone's amusement. I just overarmed the fucker the second time.
As for your story Donkey...you always were alright in the air. And as you've seen me at Worldnet you probably realise the most surprising part of my story is that I caught the ball TWICE

Well played donkey - that wasn't far from where I sit and was impressive. Nemo's one two with himself was equally impressive albeit a couple of seasons back now. Row U it was Nemo.
