You missed out one of our first and best in that list....Jan Aage Fjortoft who signed for us from Rapid Vienna for £500k and who very few Swindon fans had even heard of back then despite him being our most expensive signing at the time.

Nor did the managers that signed them...at least Power knows a bit about the murky world of agents.

I like the idea of a contract whereby you can bin the fella if he's crap pdq, but sign him up if he's the new Amr Zaki.

Bin El Gabbas...might be decent, mind.

It's marginal, but if the alternative to living in Swindon is to return to an Egypt on the verge of civil war I can just about see his point. If he gets homesick for all the chaos and strife he can always ask to be taken on a Saturday night out in Swindon. Perhaps a former central defender (now residing in the Bristol area) may care to take him on it?  Cheesy
