I think Jed said last night on Twitter that Luton weren't going to get Benson for what they are currently offering.

Surely a league 2 side will want to pick up Benson before the window closes?
That's the thing isn't for everyone saying we should be playing him it's fairly obvious that no one really wants him.. He didn't set the world alight when he went out last year

Fair point.
And a correct one. I see Cheltenham haven't come back in for him and they have needed a striker all Summer.

“There’s an incredible amount of work being done behind the scenes but, like anything, with these changes being made it does take time. You can’t expect things to be there and be rosy straight away,” he said.

“We’ve got a new training ground, a new board, a new chairman, a new manager, a new outlook on how to play – there’s so much you need to consider – new players, new contracts getting signed, players being happy, injuries. There’s such a lot of work that’s gone on over the last six months.

“We’re all trying to pull together with the best intentions to make sure that this club is sustainable and it can move on to the future and be successful.”

This is the best communication to come out of the club in weeks. I'd make him assistant manager, and give him jed's twitter password as well.

Ward also owns a cattery. A sign of a good man.

Cats are evil, but apart from that, Ward is a cracking chap. Doesn't get the applauds he deserves, both as a footballer and a bloke.

Bravo I say.
