6-0, Ranger got a hat trick. Don't know the identity of the trialist I'm afraid.

Deal for Williams to be loaned back to Yeovil has been done according to BBC Wilts.

Seems a completely retarded thing to do at this stage of the season to me (if true). Must have a replacement lined up though.

He gets to play in the championship and test himself.
It's obvious he needed a change. Wish him well but think for this season we need a real leader up top!
In fact we need a couple.
Chairman has spoken of needing 4 strikers so I think we will get 2.
Exciting.

Players from Dicanio's reign is receding.

the loan bit worries me, seems less likely they will buy him when they see what he's like! hopefully a season long loan as opposed to a short term one.

Leave us a little short tomo though as Ranger isn't fit enough to start. Could there be an incoming forward today, otherwise its Storey up top, with Pritchard one side and who the other side?

Ordinarily Reis, but in his absence maybe they'd try Byrne there?

Anyone know how long the Portuguese Pele is expected to be out for by the way?

Hopefully by April we will have a settled side to hit the 51 points to stay up.

FFS, Williams gone, we are just lurching along, could we get a 0-0 tomorrow, best bet for us I'd guess.

Not been impressed with Williams this year so its no loss, subject to who the replacement is.

Hopefully an influx of strikers coming in next week or we are going to struggle for goals.

Of course, nothing like stating the bleeding obvious!

I thought Williams would be next out the door.  I know it hasn't been going great for him,  but very disappointed to see him go. It really feels that they don't want anyone left from the Di Canio era at all?   They must have someone else lined up as we can't be relying solely on Ranger?

Would have made more sense to wait until the beginning of next week, so we had time to replace him instead of the day before we play.

In relation to Reis, I've heard he's out until Christmas, but seen nothing reported officially, so not sure how true that is.
