Not read the thread so apologies of I've missed something.
My thoughts on K Mac are well documented. He was a fucking disaster really. Completely uninspiring appointment and didn't get us over the line and now wants out when the going gets tough.
Hope the door doesn't hit him on the way out.

Apparantly another two (youngsters, not sure if Spurs) were lined up today by Power and Kmac said enough is enough. The poor guy hasn't had a say all summer and Power is really running the show. Power will be involved in the next managerial team, make no doubt about it. A shame really, I was looking forward to seeing this side under Macdonald.

I think its been obvious for a while that KMac was coaching the players he'd been given by Power. I'm not surprised KMac has had enough. I feel sorry for the guy. I'm not sure if he would have made a good manager but was happy for him to have a crack.

I support the need to reduce costs, its not a choice anyway. I'm fairly neutral on K-Mac leaving if he does, the reasons why he's leaving that need to be known.
Will reserve further judgement until then (am I maturing, I usually just rant straight away)

The problem is that there was a certain logic, that if you know you'll end up with a team of kids, then you want a manager who has some belief in that. They're a bit thin on the ground...as most managers know kids will likely get you the sack. This is why I said judge KMac on this season not last. I suppose it's just about possible that Power has got a replacement lined up, other than himself. |
