Wow, the event is a major cock up.

Blame not important, but I suspect we will need to fins another 300K a year to meet our budget Sad

Of the additional £2m in revenue the club forecast to receive per annum, £650k (iirc) was from concert profit. So guess it'll be more like £1.3m in extra revenue. How that translates into profit I do not know. For example, the catering deal will be £200k in revenue but also a £200k cost saving = £400k extra profit.

Sounds like its still going ahead but Luminites and McKNasty (whoever they are) have been replaced by a couple of punters from The Voice.

Although amsuingly on the advertiser website when you click on that page adverts for the shows pop up, still showing those who are not not coming.

Sadly whatever the whys and wherefores of it it was advertsied way too late. However if it is true that the cdirectors have put some money in to make sure it goes ahead then they do deserve some credit, not that they will get any.

What a mess.  Surely this leaves the door for people to get refunds if the line up has changed at the last minute?

Nah, in multiple act bills there's always a clause saying the acts are subject to change- believe the most high profile case would be U2 dropping out of Glastonbury a few years ago.

To be fair, a fair few people may have bought tickets thinking they were the Lumineers

I'm starting to feel a bit sorry for the club/board.  They had the best of intentions.  We all know that development of alternative revenues streams is essential for any football club.  This one just hasn't worked out.  It's all a bit C-List, isn't it.

C-list, do you mean cunt?  This fiasco would never have happened if Callum hadn't gone back to the cruises.

Think most of them have vague aspirations of working their way up to C-List don't they? To add to the general air of piss-ups in breweries, apparently they brought the start time forward an hour today. Wonder how many people will not have heard and will have turned up at the original start time to find they've missed half the acts and even then they're not the ones advertised? Shambles would be putting it midly
