The concerts were organised with too short notice, as people would've organised holidays now as the kids are now off on holiday and it's the start of the two week shutdown at places like Honda.

What people can tell something is shit and don't bother with it?

Credit where it is due to the board for propping it up, but if it had been marketed correctly and priced correctly in the beginning they may end up with a better attendance than they are going to get

Yet another cock up at stfc. Nobody will trust the so called organisers of the concerts after the pricing fiasco.
If the board are going to persist with these events I suggest they change promoters next time.

They should have a rave on the pitch, Helter Skelter style.

You'd be down for it Arriba

It's not an 80's cover band: people were never going to go

Ha ha.  There's 20 of us old timers going to Brunel Rooms at the end of August to see Pete Tong on my birthday.  In fact I know hoards of people going that night and they're all over 35.  It'll bring back some memories and the youngsters won't know what's hit them  Cheesy

Luminites ‏@LUMINITES 54m
We've been told by the organisers of the Swindon summer sessions that today's show is no longer going ahead..

Wow, the event is a major cock up.

Blame not important, but I suspect we will need to fins another 300K a year to meet our budget Sad
