I'm with Lucien, St Pauls is beautiful...
Avonmouth picturesque...
This smacks of someone who doesn't really know the place, if I'm honest. They've been gentrifying St.Paul's for about 10 years now, and Avonmouth is hardly Bristol. Pretty much everything south of the river is a dive though.

Amir, you are right mate. I try and avoid Bristol as much as possible.
Last time I set foot in St Pauls was probably 5 or 6 years ago, gentrifying it they were not.

Bristol may have its shite areas, but they tend to have character and soul, unlike Swindon which is made up of badly designed non-descript, toy town cul-de-sacs centred around district centres and populated with 'motorway men'. Its only saving grace is its surrounding countryside and football team.

I wouldn't be so bothered about Flint going if we'd kept hold of Devera.
Similarly to the loss of McCormack, how good this transfer is completely depends on who we end up bringing in as a replacement.

I live South of the River in Bedminster and we've got Ashton Court, Clifton and on a smaller scale bits like Southville are really nice nowadays to name but a few. I love living in Bristol.

As I said last month, I heard Flint wanted out as soon as the season was over and was not happy with the club extending his contract.
We have got a very good price for him so we move on and hopefully we can bring in someone decent to play alongside Darren Ward, who was our best defender last season.

Fee undisclosed, is it too much to assume that City are paying in Pounds Sterling, and not people?
