On last year.

The proposed contract at the start of last season was silly money.

Douglas was twice the player of course.

He was shit and a bottling cunt in his second year, much like the rest of them.

McCormack was superb his first season here, last season not so.

I presume he's still sniffing around for a better deal elsewhere and if that doesn't materialize then he'll re-sign. After which he will no doubt conduct an interview with the Adver entitled "This is where I always wanted to be".

Carried by Ferry.

I'd like to think McCormack hasn't given an answer one way or another because he is still in negotiations with the club.

He won't make any comment as he is probably in negotiations with Brentford, not us. If he announced he is not signing with us, that's leaves him in a weaker position with Brentford negotiations.
