Palace were our traditional bogey team, but I have enjoyed Peppermint Town winning their as well as Super Graz scoring in a 2-1 win their as well.
Not that bothered which of them went up, either way, they're finishing 20th in the PL next season.
But.... it's all a bit wrong that 2/3 years ago they were in administration and now they have this massive windfall. Now they have all this cash should they not be paying off those creditors that they owed a fortune to?
If I had a business that supplied them with goods or services and they only paid me 10p in every pound they owed me (or whatever it was) I would be looking for the rest of the cash this morning.

Good question...Doncaster spring to mind as someone we've a terrible record against but haven't played too often. I daresay there'll be something on Richard B's site.... Interestingly, we've beaten just about every traditional team in English football, at some time or other....and lost to them as well except Rochdale...thank you Elliot Benyon |

We've a bad record v Chelsea, mainly because of games in the FA cup, in th early years, and we've not played them much since, but I've seen us beat them twice once in the LC 63/64 and then in the Simod Cup game when we stuffed them 4-0. I can recall being particularly happy beating Forest 2-1 in the early noughties, which I think was the first time ever. A game, strangely memorable for our first goal being headed in by Rory Fallon from a cross by Nicky Summerbee. Similarly I enjoyed beating Leeds 3-2 in mid 90's with a Ross McBlobby piledriver, which was possibly the first time. I note the presence of Cheltnumb high on that list....I'd like to see us win at Whaddon Road. It was fairly obvious they'd be a bogey team, when they benefited from dodgy red cards, and goals being deflected in from range etc. |

The problem with 50, is that it does tend to balance out a bit, so although in some cases like Charlton etc, we've a reord well in deficit, we have managed to beat them quite a few times. For me a proper bogey team is someone you just don't seem to be able to beat. Away matches, often throw up the worst examples...in some cases a bit inexplicably, like Doncaster and Cheltnumb |

I know exactly what you mean about some teams we just cannot seem to beat such as Donny and 'Numb no matter what, the Pox of late as well are somewhat of a bogey side even though if you go back a few years they were anything but that.
