Good luck to Palace in the PL. Looks they will need it!

Glad it's them and not Twatford.

Hated those fuckers when their fans spat on us from above as we were leaving the ground last time I went to Vicarage Road.

And the fiddling the loan system this year pissed me off

I went today as got a ticket in the middle tier with work. Have to say the Palace fans were outstanding. If you remember when we went in 07, they've got a load of Italian style ultras who wear black. Apparently the club reserved them a block of tickets right behind the goal. Although there were only 300 or so, they didn't stop and most of the time got the other 34,700 going. Watford were absolute gash on that front. Probably even worse than us on our two visits.

Hate to say it, but as a neutral mainly interested in drinking/eating, I quite enjoyed 'club wembley'.....but I suppose that's why it works.

Why?

I don't mind them, always liked their kit with the sash. Only just occurred to me that they were my local team where I grew up, guess I'd be supporting them if we hadn't of moved when I was a kid.

They were always a jinx team for us and Bright and Wright were massive cocks every time they played us. I remember going to Palace in old Div 2 and we were 1-1 and net thing the ref has given a pen to them although the Fridge had a bloody great big ball mark on his shirt.
Horrible place to get to and horrible when you're there.
Don't like Watford either - the fucking walk out of the away end is exhausting.

I remember that league cup game....pissed wet through at Palace.

Can you name the three teams we have played at Selhust Park that were not Palace?

Why?

In terms of the amount of 'fans' that appear with success. But then again I suppose it is the same for every team. Maybe i'm just bitter that my local team won the play offs and we didn't.

I'm suprised that Palace are a bit of a yo-yo club in the premier league era, yet still always seem to be financially fucked.

Wasn't fussed either way who won and was simply looking for a good game/atmosphere.  Palace fans were just a lot better. We could learn a thing or two as im pretty certain if we play there again in the near future (wishful thinking) it will be the same old story.

You'd like to think the potential £120million would help their cause

Love Holloway, him v Paolo could be tasty next season. Only wanted Palace to go up for the entertainment of seeing him on match of the day week in week out.

Always liked Palace since Don Rogers played for them. Also were my local team for 8 years.

I understand what you're saying Langers. I lived in Croydon when Palace reached the FA cup final in 1990, and when normally you'd hardly see any evidence of support for them, every other car was flying red and blue streamers for a couple of weeks.

I'm still trying to work out if Zaha is any good or not. Yesterday he was almost unplayable, but at times tries to do way way too much.

I think he has the ability to be a top player, but not convinced if he is going to make it at Man Yoo or not. He certainly won't get away with being a greedy fucker at Old Trafford!
