I find it a shame when people try to one-up it because it’s ronaldo

They wouldn't if he wasnt such an arrogant cunt.

Great goal though. Messi's still better.

Even Zlatan gets in on the action...
Ibrahimovic on Ronaldo’s goal: “It was a nice goal, but he should try it from 40 meters.”

Zlatan is a massive prick. That cunt makes everything about himself.

Bet he comes out of international retirement for the world cup even though he played no part in Sweden getting there.

Nice goal scored by Ronaldo.

Rory Fallon did it better though.  Smiley

This.

Ronaldo may have got up a little higher but doing it against Shitty in front of the Town End, Ronaldo's was not.

I was more disappointed that the GK was applauding it as it went in. He could've 'tried' to look like he could stop it.

Haha, I know who it was. I just think he knows he can't get down that quickly now. Retires end of the season doesn't he?

If he had got down quickly he would have dived under it.....  Wink

The wank fest in the media about this is predictably boring, it was the fucking lead story on the BBC sport website until Ray Wilkins passed away!

This was my particular qualm about it too. I think I said such things at the time on Tweetybird. The goal was fantastic, no doubt but there have and will be better goals scored.

I thought Ashley Barnes scored a better one at the weekend anyway!

Should it have been disallowed ?

Disciplinary action

PLAYING IN A DANGEROUS MANNER

Playing in a dangerous manner is any action that, while trying to play the ball, threatens injury to someone (including the player themself) and includes preventing a nearby opponent from playing the ball for fear of injury.

A scissors or bicycle kick is permissible provided that it is not dangerous to an opponent.

Looked pretty dangerous for the opponent to me.

If you haven’t seen Reuben Neves’ goal for Wolves last night I urge you to check it out.
