‘  If Max Kilman moves to Napoli for the rumoured fee of €40m, non-league Maidenhead Utd could be in for a very big payday!

A 20% sell-on clause is thought to have been included in his 40K transfer to Wolves from the National League part-timers in 2018.’

I read somewhere that this was capped at £1.5 million

Could have gone in either thread, but I do quite like Dover's response...

Yeah...brilliant...I only found out they were playing when flicking channels and came across it on C4...should have had way more publicity, similar to what the Lionesses had last year in the womens' Eurpos...

Pompey have sold 1,100 tickets for a pre season friendly at AFC Wimbledon, and its a midweek game (tonight), thats some impressive lower league support.

Thought with all their recent signings they had sorted stuff out. Seemingly not.

‘ Reading have been placed under an immediate transfer embargo for failing to pay HMRC

The bill was due last week, the club are yet to pay the significant amount and have been placed under an embargo once again ’

re Reading, surely if they have an unpaid bill to HMRC, they should not be able to increase their wage outgoings/transfer fees until that bill has been settled?

I think the powers that be are going to need to be stricter with clubs paying outstanding bills. If you can't afford to pay the taxman, then you can't afford to bring in new players. Clubs need to get their shit in order.

Got to be a Derby-sized points deduction incoming.
