Di Canio has gone, he's moved on (hopefully) so it's probably best that we all try and do the same. Every time Sunderland play, we're going to get this outcry of bemoaning mixed with the conspiracy theories. He's is clearly a great manager. The party ended and he left.
MacDonald will forever be 'the man who had to replace Di Canio'. Perhaps it would have been more sensible to have brought in an interim and then appointed a full-time boss (MacDonald) in the summer?
