Jed owns/owned Banbury and Hooper has worked at at least 2 other clubs. They also have a consultant whose and experienced football man in Martin King. These things are out there in the public domain and on this site. It's no secret.

If you want to know about things it helps to read about them.

Banbury are not a professional football club and getting paint donated from a local firm to do up a club house hardly constitutes 'experienced' club ownership.

Hooper held two commercial roles, similar to Adam Wainwright at STFC as good as he may be at his job it isn't anywhere near sitting on a board of a football club.

Martin King was a board member at Luton for 1 1/2 years during their financial meltdown. Plenty of best practice to be learnt from that... It's all out there if you actually read it before putting blind faith in what the adver tells you.

Get your head out of the sand and reality won't smack you round the arse.

2 of the 4 (plus one consultant) have actual hands on experience of running football clubs yet you claim they have (collective inexperience)

Fucking genius.

No 1 of the four has experience of working at a professional football club, 1 has owned a non-league team for 8 months and a consultant has 1 1/2 years experience at a club that got docked 30 points for financial misconduct.

But dress it up how you like.

Blind faith for no reason..

Fucking Genius

Justifies my decision not to renew next season
It really doesn't. It might make you feel better about what I'm sure are completely valid reasons for making a choice that is yours and yours alone to take, but half-arsed speculation on an internet message board doesn't justify anything.

It's second declension so genii. If it had been fourth declension the plural would have been genius (long u, pronounced "oo" as in "Typhoo"). True story.

declension

I had to google that.

Since googling it, I'm still none the wiser.

Quote
In linguistics, declension is the inflection of nouns, pronouns, adjectives, and articles to indicate number (at least singular and plural), case (nominative or subjective, genitive or possessive, etc.), and gender. A declension is also a group of nouns that follow a particular pattern of inflection.

I don't understand!

*I got there. never mind.

It speaks volumes when renowned happy clapper Venkman is raising eyebrows at the situation.

The board really aren't doing much to shift their 'mickey mouse' tag, are they?

Have to say it is very very concerning.

My hope that its OK is that Morsehead seems convinced this is not the fault of the current board. Unless he is being spun yarns that is something to cling to.
