Perhaps, maybe, we should wait to hear what our board have to say before casting aspersions.

Just a though like.

When was this game that triggered this payment?  I am sure the payment doesnt have to be made straight away.

The article implies its the 2nd of these payments which is due and that would have been due after 30 apps, he has just made his 35th app on saturday, so were only talking a couple of weeks ago.  Probably our fault games have been posponed as they were waiting for him to play as they are so desperate for the money.

Agreed - I was criticising the club, not you Ardiles. For several months it's felt like we've been run by the dodgy geezers of old rather than the upstanding businessmen who were briefly in charge. I really hope Jed's Reds don't confirm this impression, but I'm not holding my breath...

This might imply that the payment fell due during the period between boards, when effectively no-one was in charge. If the money was due though, it should have been paid on time. The Ritchie money was in the account to tide over interim costs.

I wasn't talking about the new guys. Though I'll be pleasantly surprised if they turn out to be a model of business acumen.

The 2nd appearence fee became payable after the home game vs Shrewsbury on the 19th Jan, about 5 weeks ago. Would guess it was missed due to the takeover. Though surely it doesn't become immediately on the day and there is some payment window. Also wonder if they've paid us for the tickets they sold?
