Being a Swindon fan certainly does feed the persecution complex. What with everyone going nuts about us being £13 million in debt and national papers and radio presenters calling us cheats, while Preston announcing debts of £46 million a couple of weeks later leads to nobody giving a shit. And everyone praising Eddie Howe for being a fantastic young manager at Bournemouth (something i don't necessarily disagree with) for turning around a struggling squads fortunes since he returned, while Di Canio's efforts in turning around a newly relegated club from the bottom division (and with the soul sucked out of the club) to third in league 1 in a season and a half is always written off as being just about having lots of money, even though the squad Howe has at his disposal cost at least double Di Canio's. And on the subject of Bournemouth, still literally no-one seeming to give a fuck they're spending way more than us with a smaller turnover but our outgoings on players being a source of much greater outrage (with much gnashing of teeth heard). And Luke Mcormick training with us creating national headlines and angry vitriol from supporters around the country, while him actually signing for Oxford leads to barely a mention anywhere in the press. And the football league pulling the rug from under us a few minutes before the January transfer window closes while clubs with no owners are free to sign away to their hearts content (okay, maybe there's sound legal reasons for that one and i'm being a bit biased, but i still think it's unfair). And this is just within the last couple of months! What is it about this club that makes everyone else so full of sound and fury? Maybe we're really just all c*nts who are too blinkered to realise, but at the moment my attitude to the rest of the football world feels like a big FUCK YOU! Brilliant, just brilliant

seriously though even taking note of their crowds dropping that still leaves around £500k lost?
Well they cannot sell their Cup Final tickets 6 months early this season.

The FA are obviously sore that the best English team ever to compete in Europe is doing well and are leading on the FL to make our lives difficult. Also they staged the moon landings.

Great post. Echoes my feeling, especially on the ignoring of other club like AFCB. Tomorrow AFCB play Pompey. The battle of 2 clubs one a few years down the line from the other.
Anyway, in answer to your question why is everyone else so full of sound and fury, ultimately it signifies nothing and empty vessels make the loudest noise.
Fuck you indeed you empty twats. Look at your own situation because I can assure you you're all potentially fucked as well.

Anyone would think our Manager has just been successful in creating a siege mentality that has managed to bring fans, players and manager together ready for a final push up into the auto spots.

Everyone is out to get us ... but no problem. We will win this league anyway because PDC is a strong leader
