Reading between the lines, I think they are probably going to have to go into admin. Nobody is bothering to go and watch them anymore so its surely only a matter of time before they become unsustainable http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21380551

This doesn't even take account of the £40m debt hanging over them, the players on £5k a week and the fact they have even less ground revenue than we do.
seriously though even taking note of their crowds dropping that still leaves around £500k lost?
Oh and where exactly are they going to move to, Oxford City?

Don't Shrewsbury already play there? Doubt they would groundshare with them anyway.

Thats a rather substantial loss considering they have achieved fuck all on the pitch and have no real quality players for that division.
On a side note, I havent noticed any mass uproar of their signing of Luke mccormick in the media? we got fucking hounded because we let him train with us and they appear to have got nothing at all?

Think it's more the case that in our case he'd not even been released from jail. We basically took the heat for them.

Well we were planning an Escape to Victoryesque plan to spring him, would have got round the problems with the FL not ratifying our transfers.

Its because everyone moaned about him returning to professional football when he trained with us which means nobody considers signing for the scum as a return to professional football...

Being a Swindon fan certainly does feed the persecution complex. What with everyone going nuts about us being £13 million in debt and national papers and radio presenters calling us cheats, while Preston announcing debts of £46 million a couple of weeks later leads to nobody giving a shit. And everyone praising Eddie Howe for being a fantastic young manager at Bournemouth (something i don't necessarily disagree with) for turning around a struggling squads fortunes since he returned, while Di Canio's efforts in turning around a newly relegated club from the bottom division (and with the soul sucked out of the club) to third in league 1 in a season and a half is always written off as being just about having lots of money, even though the squad Howe has at his disposal cost at least double Di Canio's. And on the subject of Bournemouth, still literally no-one seeming to give a fuck they're spending way more than us with a smaller turnover but our outgoings on players being a source of much greater outrage (with much gnashing of teeth heard). And Luke Mcormick training with us creating national headlines and angry vitriol from supporters around the country, while him actually signing for Oxford leads to barely a mention anywhere in the press. And the football league pulling the rug from under us a few minutes before the January transfer window closes while clubs with no owners are free to sign away to their hearts content (okay, maybe there's sound legal reasons for that one and i'm being a bit biased, but i still think it's unfair). And this is just within the last couple of months! What is it about this club that makes everyone else so full of sound and fury? Maybe we're really just all c*nts who are too blinkered to realise, but at the moment my attitude to the rest of the football world feels like a big FUCK YOU!
