not certain there is anything stopping other teams making a bid for him now and negotiating a deal, they just won't have his registration until the summer.
Actually, is there any reason we couldn't sell him now to someone else? His registration is still with us and could be transfer, except he'd stay out on loan for the rest of the season.

that's what i meant - unless Birmingham have got a 'first dibs' clause in his loan deal, i don't know if anything could prevent another club approaching us, offering us a few buttons and some belly button fluff, us accepting the deal and Caddis agreeing terms on a contract. might be wrong though, i am basing this on transfer rules in Football Manager on another note, SSN are reporting that Celtic have rejected a 4th bid for Hooper from Naarrch so can't see them signing Austin

surely this is a given if the transfer window lasted long enough, he'd start going through the phone book

If Hooper does go to Naaarge, expect Kevin Doyle to join Celtic on loan rather than Charlie going.

Any possible deal for Charlie would rest massively on his fitness as he is currently still out injured and has been for a month.

Yes -- Burnley fans relieved he's injured apparently.
