Been meaning to do this for a while.

I nearly chocked on the price of Mach3 Turbo blades. £8 for 4 or £15 ish for 8 from sainsbugs.

Fuck me I only want to scrape the whiskers of my mush in the morning.

Soooooooo where can an average bloke like me get stuff like this at a price that means I don't need to ring the bank manager up first?

This should run with other everyday items being available for less that the shelf edge prices we end up paying at large retail establishments. Please bare in mind that not everyone has access to credit cards and the Internet for purchases.

Spend more on foam/gel and 1 blade will last for a couple of months.

You'll save more overall.

I think I read somewhere that the cheap, one blade disposables do just a job as the mach5 uber-power face slicer blades. I wouldn't know though (but wouldn't be surprised), as I only have to shave once a week, so treat myself to the 'luxury'

most people say that but i tried it and they shredded my face.

i only shave once a week, even less lately, so perhaps the disposables work fine if you shave on a daily basis

The double edged razor blades are dirt cheap. Shaving takes forever though.

Yep

I think it's the need to hack away at the stubble that shreds my face. A mach 3 will just slice through it with a decent gel

I use Gillette shaving gel or king of shaves shaving gel. So that does not hold up sadly?

Bought some a while ago. After nearly bleeding to death I gave them to the misses to shave her flange with. I think she had the same opinion after trying them too.

Don't be so flippant, this is serious shit. Some of us rely on being clean shaved and smart for our work. iF I looked like a cross between a vagrant and the Yorkshire Ripper I'd sell bugger all and my earnings would go down and, well the countries tax take would go into free fall.

Cheap disposables razors are awful, they leave me with an itchy rash. I've found wilkinson sword to be a much better razor than Gillette too. I got a Phillips electric shaver for Christmas which works fine (though not as good as a razor) and even though the initial outlay might be a tad high, you save pennies in the long run

Tesco have a deal on the King of Shaves Azor 5 blade system at the moment, i got a 8 pack of blades & a new handle with 2 blades for £8. They really are good razors & couple it with a good shave gel/foam & you can't go wrong.
