I've just watched an old Men Behaving Badly episode (they're all old, yes) where Tony grows up, gets boring, grows a tache and starts working as a postman. And Lesley Ash (pre-trout pout, but still looking a bit too mumsy...always thought that was a rubbish piece of casting) stops wanting to have sex with him.
I now realise that the programme - and Tony's rite of passage from youthful nonchalence to middle age - was simply a metaphor for what's happened to every bugger on here (me included) since FB stopped living here full time. Art immitating life. Or something.
This post is the best post ever made on the townend. The argument works - we have all got old and rubbish. But then you wouldn't have had the inspiration to make it if you haven't been watching a repeat of Men Behaving Badly - which you'd only do if you were getting old and your life has got a bit boring. It's like a self-referencing reference. Doesn't mean you are right though. My life has got more exciting since I stopped posting on here. I now have a job and a girlfriend. Fuck knows how the rest of you adjusted people ever find the time. |

Sounds dull as fuck, but in the current climate I guess a job is a job. I know I'd like something where I could be sat down. Good luck with it all anyway. |
