"I'll do my job...you do yours"

PAOLO Di Canio has taken an unprompted swipe at Sir William Patey after the Swindon Town chairman upset his manager by suggesting more diligence needs to be taken in the signing of new players.

That's fine Paolo. But do it like a man rather than a petulant child.

I wonder whether I should drop STFC an email and offer some bespoke management training courses?

Don't know whether to laugh or cry at the comments under the article. Many seem to have read the first paragraph and not the rest of the article, as they're effectively saying "Patey is right in saying our players aren't good enough", when the issue discussed is not quality but fitness.

Idiots.

Has anyone accused Sam Morshead of goading Paolo into these quotes with criminally clever questioning yet?

No, because

A) It is clearly not the case this time and

B) Those accusations were leveled at Chris Wise, not Morshead

Morshead has been accused of needless sensationlism, although in his defence it has transpired he is not responsible for writing headlines (which seems to be the only thing that most people read)

Another over reaction from our fans and another slightly dodgy Adver headline.

PDC is just explaining what happened with Coke, it's petulant yes, but hardly worth this level of vitriol.

Where is this 'vitriol' you speak of? I've not seen any.

Isn't that a type of ointment?

No he's not, he's having a direct pop at the new Chairman, telling him to mind his own business. The headline's entirely justified.

"Unprofessional immature twat" might have been better. It's like having a teenage girl as manager - he'll be in his room right now, playing his CDs *really* loud and shouting at his Gary Barlow poster.

Results on the pitch have been pretty good for a teenage girl though.

We all know what we get with di canio. He's the main attraction and knows he is bigger than the club. Think this is starting to grate both board and fans.

Does seem to be with some fans yeah. I personally still think he's a breath a fresh air in today's modern football. Have enjoyed the last 18 months more than most of my time supporting town so long may he stay!
