I'm not sure that a town that can't even work out how to pronounce their own name is in any position to criticise others to be honest...

Even if we were in crisis, our crisis is situation normal for Shrewsbury. If it wasn't they'd keep players like James Collins.

They're misinformedly laughing at us. Let's make petty jokes about them. That'll show them who's boss...

Can't we just laugh at their pathetic comments, direct them to the league table, and move on, rather than going down the "small club" "nearly welsh" "league two team" route?

Not surprising considering their wage bill. I heard Collins had to take a wage-cut to join Swindon.

Remember they had a guy that had to retrieve the ball from the river in a coracle (?) - one of those saucer shaped ice-age water crafts.

They are nicknamed The Shrews not The Shrows.

Agreed. I've been doing it for a while now. Some of their fans are an embarrassment.

Classic now, one of their forumites is claiming to be related to our chairman in 1990 who was responsible for bringing Hoddle to us  Roll Eyes

so in one post he says stuff about our trouble in the early 90's then in the very same post he says his great uncle was chairman in the early 90's and couldn't wait to get out due to the stick he was getting from the fans?

i'm sure the shrewsbury fans would have been delighted to have a board act the way ours did and would have erected statues of them for the sterling work for the community...

that post isn't contradictory at all...
