If Paolo wants to be considered a good manager, he has to learn to manage the resources he has rather than just want to spend his way out of the league.
You'd think Harry Redknapp was his mentor wouldn't you.

Personally, I think PDC should focus on why we are picking up injuries so regularly in the first place.
Are we really picking up injuries at an unusual frequency? We currently have three players out, which seems pretty unexceptional to me. The fact that it's three of our best performers may be related to the fact that they've played nearly every game, which means that for all Paolo's rotations, we currently seem to be over-reliant on the same three or four core players. Now's the time for Paolo to prove he's a great manager and use the quality he's assembled. It's what a squad's there for.

How many League 1 managers could replace Williams, McCormack and Roberts with reserves of the calibre of Benson/Rooney, Flint/TAH/Devera and De Vita/Storey? (OK, so we may be a winger light...).

It seems every week we're picking up an injury or two.

No wonder Paolo needs this embargo lifted so he can get in a few more!

Roberts, Macca and Williams at the mo. Is De Vita injured? That'll be four.

TAH, Thompson and Benson have recently just come back from injuries.

TAH was out for a few weeks to begin with, Thompson missed a couple through injury and Roberts is another who's been out.

It's hardly an injury crisis is it?

Whoah.

Don't go putting words in my mouth, I said bugger all about an injury crisis.

We do seemingly have four first teamers out at the moment though which is higher than usual, and two of those play in the same position leaving that position looking a little short.

Think I could have explained myself better.....

As it stands, with Williams, Roberts and De Vita unavailable we are left with only one winger at the club. Even if we recalled L Rooney we are still left without cover.

Think that says it all really.

I think PDC need to stop moaning and get on with the job to be honest. He brings in all these players then claims he needs more. We cant just keep bringing players in willy nilly. We have 2 or 3 injuries but still plenty of cover. Maybe PDC should play Bostock and recall Rooney rather than sit there claiming he needs players.
