If anything was actually happening surely a transfer of this importance would have, and could have, been sorted before the deadline.

I wouldn't lose any sleep over it

Less positive about today with out Ritchie, hope its just a precaution. Hope Roberts gets back soon as well!

I wouldn't be too down about Ritchie.  I'm optimistic, in any case, that Rooney (L) is going to shine in this division...just as De Vita seems to be doing over on the other wing.  Ritchie not being there for this game doesn't really bother me.  We have strength in depth now - in a way that we haven't had for over 15 years.

We're not a one man team. Given his input thus far this season, or lack there of), Rooney should be chomping at the bit for this chance.

Hopefully Preston have a nice clumsy full back for Rooney to tear apart.

1-1 today I think, a win would be a great result.

Rooneys time to shine.

He'll either have a stormer today or be shit get taken off at half time and be back at Gillingham on loan next week.

Thought De Vita was one of, if not our best player Tuesday night and its not purely a coincidence that Stoke came back into once he'd gone off. More of the same from him today would be nice.

1-1 draw.

Come on the Town!

It'll be 1-1 after an hour when Ferry comes on and runs the show to get us a 2-1 win.
